Her work mostly concerns the redevelopment of comprehensive Integrated HR Systems within Ministries of Health (MOH) encompassing all essential elements of HR the different aspects of Human Resources. Key to this is the strengthening of the capacity of MOHs to utilise a strong multisectoral coordination approach. Emphasis is on practical application and “making things work”.
Whilst working on individual aspects of HR this is always approached within the context of an Integrated Management of HR approach. Elements of her work include: HR Policy Development;Workforce Planning including application of WISN (Workload Indicators of Staffing Need), National and Decentralised HR Planning (Dewdney Methodology) and establishment of computerised HR Management Information Systems. Production and Capacity Development ensuring that HR production both governmental and private meets needs of the; Human Resources Management, both personnel and performance.
She has had considerable experience in teaching HR both at Universities and in country. She also taught Primary Health Care at London University.
